Plagiarism..... Really???? Are you kidding???
This week for our blog we have to post something about plagiarism. I know people that have done it in high school, but you know I really didn't care. I guess long as it wasn't me and my grades that were getting into trouble, it really didn't faze me. What is the deal with plagiarism? Why do people do it? I remember my English teacher telling us, "Plagiarism is for the mind of people who are just plan lazy and probably didn't want to accomplish anything in their life!" See she was the type of English teacher that would call you out and shame you. So you were actually too scared to even look at another author's work. See the way I look at it is, encouraging words can give you encouraging thoughts and then you wouldn't have to "plagiarize". See in middle school, I was the type that would make up my own stories. Hey everyone did it, DON'T DENY IT!!! lol See when stories seemed so boring to me, I made up my own and my teacher loved reading them. I guess that's why we cite everything we do. I love to paraphrase. I don't do it ofter, but it is an enjoyment to actually take what another person wrote and change the words into my own. Seriously, like what would you do if someone took your work and used it as their own? I would probably blow a fuse, but with what the world is today all you have to do is bring a law suit against whomever stole your work. I think America has gotten to the point where that's all they can do now to actually get their point across.... "DON'T STEAL MY WORK!!!!" LOL. Like my nephew say, " Not nice, it's just not nice". Which he's 3 years old and even he knows better. But really why would you do it?

Topic of choice!!!
I wanted to actually do my project on autism. Maybe because it hits so close to home. My fiance has twin nephews that have autism and they have an older sister by another mother that has it to. I wanted to actually do like a English paper on it, but do it in a Psych form. Would I be wrong for doing that? Don't really know if his brother would be insulted by the situation. Kind of scared to ask.
As for being an online student, I enjoy it because it is more of my speed and it is more challenging. I like a challenge. I can't really say anything bad about being in the blog-o-sphere!! I am getting the hang of actually writing on this thing. I have to be careful about what I say, no telling who is actually reading this other than the students in my class and my teacher. I really think it is important to spread awareness about autism.

Unassurance
Well this is my first blog. I never really understood or got into blogging, but since this is for my class and for my fellow classmates to read then I can get with it. Well allot of things have been on my mind lately..... I am getting married April 16th of next year and have yet to get anything together. Luckly, my loving stepmother is use to planning weddings and I have all her help and support. I had alot of people ask me will I cry at my wedding, I really don't see why. I know it's an emotional time for everyone, cause who would have thought I would have found the love of my life. Little did I know, he was under my nose since I was in the 9th grade. I always had this big idea that if I haven't met anyone and married by time I turned 30, well then I wasn't looking anymore. Glad I'm just 24 years old. LOL....I would love to receive any feedback about going by getting the cake and invitations. Anything to do with marriage. Also would like some feedback on my blog. How did I do for my first time? Please be honest!!! :)
